It's been a long time since we've posted due to conflicting priorities, but the news of the last two days has been quite important. Following yesterday's visit to the Middle School by Greenburgh Police (see the Journal-News Coverage here and the News12 Coverage here), the Middle School was once again disrupted by an alleged threat against the school that caused the District Administration to immediately evacuate students and staff.
Students were immediately moved to the High School so the proper dismissal procedures could be followed. Questions abound about this latest development. Students were removed from the building at about 8:40 this morning and a district-wide email blast was sent at 9:08am. Reports by parents from both the Middle School and the High School have talked about a tense atmosphere with some parents yelling and generally acting frustrated by this turn of events.
