UPDATE (2:39pm): Here's the News12 coverage of the meeting this morning.
In an email note sent out last night around 10pm by Superintendent Jason Friedman, the school district has acknowledged numerous requests for more information and action by residents and parents:
We have received numerous requests for information regarding follow-up and next steps to this week’s unfortunate incidents. In the best interest of all students, we are in the process of working through a resolution to the current concerns at the Ardsley Middle School. As we do this, we have taken steps to reduce the present and potential challenges to the teaching and learning environment in the current climate of the building. While we understand and respect the community’s desire to know all the facts regarding a resolution, New York State Education and Federal Law prohibit us from sharing the details. As we continue to work through this matter, please know that the well-being and safety of students and staff is our paramount concern.
Meanwhile, many parents were planning to attend an impromptu meeting at the Middle School this morning at 7:30am. If you have information about the events of this morning's meeting, please feel free to post them in the comments here.
