According to an email this morning from Greenburgh Police Chief John Kapica to the Greenburgh Town Board, the cause of today's evacuation was:
"This morning three students brought to the attention of the Ardsley Middle School administration a web site relating to bombs and containing the picture of the student that was the subject of yesterday's concern. School officials decided to evacuate the school for the day and we are presently assisting them with doing so."
The note was subsequently forwarded by Town Supervisor Feiner to Ardsley Mayor Jay Leon, who then posted it to an Internet Discussion Group today, shortly after Noon.
