The following note went out from the Superintendent of Schools today in an attempt to address ongoing concerns about this week's events:
I am writing to you in connection with recent news reports of incidents within the Ardsley School community. Paramount among the district’s concerns is the welfare of all of our students. The parents of the student at the center of the reports have requested that their child be placed on home instruction for the remainder of the school year at an offsite location. The Superintendent has agreed that this resolution is appropriate and believes that it is in the best interests of all parties. It is the district’s position that this resolution is satisfactory and the school community may now move on from recent events and continue the education of our children.
Sincerely,
Jason P. Friedman
Superintendent of Schools
