    New procedure to address questions from the Public: In an effort to better respond to questions presented by the public, citizens are invited to submit their questions to the Town Clerk in writing, via email (TownClerk@GreenburghNY.com), fax to 993-1626 or hand delivery by 5:00PM each Tuesday before the regularly scheduled Town Board Meeting. Questions will be shared with Department Heads and Town Board Members for response during the Wednesday night Town Board Meeting

    Comprehensive Plan Community Outreach Meeting #3 will be held April 10, 7:30 PM, in Edgemont, at Edgemont High School in the LGI room.  Parking is available.  Refreshments will be served.
Comprehensive Plan Community Outreach Meeting #4 will be held April 29, 7:30 PM, in Secor/Ridge Road/Poets Corner area. Venue to be announced.

Waterwheel Property to be Discussed Today

According to the Town of Greenburgh website, the tentative schedule for today's Greenburgh Town Board Work Session includes a discussion of the Waterwheel property in Ardsley, with Village Mayor Jay Leon. The Town Board now streams their work sessions live over the Internet. Starting at 2pm, you should be able to see the work session by clicking here. Mayor Leon is scheduled to appear at the end of the meeting, at approximately 6pm.

Greenburgh Board Meets on Access to Parks

Last night the Greenburgh Town Board had a special meeting to discuss what should be done in the wake of the recent Appellate Court decision regarding the Finneran Law, and whether residents of incorporated villages should pay for/have access to Town parks.

The Board was to discuss asking the State Legislature to amend the Finneran Law to give the Board flexibility to allow incorporated village residents access to parks or programs as needed. This would allow the board to accept Mayor Leon's proposal that Ardsley residents have access to the town pool under a specially created program.

Registration for Greenburgh One Mile Run is Open

Registration for the 2008 Greenburgh One Mile Run is now open.  Copies of this year’'s registration form are available at Town Hall and the Parks and Recreation Registration office. The form can also be downloaded here.

Date: June 21st, 2008
Where: Hartsdale Train Station - Pipeline Road
Registration: 8:30 AM.         The Run starts at 9:00 AM
This is a fundraising event to benefit Gilda’s Club.
This is event is co-sponsored by the Westchester Road Runners Club
